Pizza Expose
( 5 Votes. Click star to vote )I purchased a pizza from one of our local pizza emporiums recently and when I opened it I thought "That looks small". It got me to thinking how do the pizza's stack up to each other? The only way to find out for sure was to buy identical pizzas from everyone on the same night, so that's what I did!
I purchased a Supreme, thin based pizza from Eagle Boys, Pizza Hut and Dominos and compared them, this is what I found - The Pizza Hut pizza was 29cm across and weighed 640gms, the Dominos pizza was 29cm across and weighed 460gms and the Eagleboys pizza was 30cm across and weighed 520gms. So size was not the big difference, what was suprising was the weight variation. The Pizza Hut pizza was by far the most generous, giving the biggest meal in the same serve. Being a Tuesday, I took advantage of the "Cheap Tuesday" prices and the Dominos and Eagle Boys pizza's were only $5.50, the Pizza Hut doesn't do the "Cheap Tuesday" and was $7.95. I don't think the price was a factor in how big they make their pizzas, so it looks like Pizza Hut came out the winner.
BTW They all tasted great!
