Girls' Brigade is part of an international Christian youth organisation which supports the family, serves in the community and meets the needs of girls today operating through local churches. Throughout Queensland there are 47 companies and around 1800 members. The well planned programme covers a wide range of activities which help the physical, mental and spiritual growth of the girls.
Starting with a simple scheme, the programme develops into a wider sphere of work, leading onto the full range of subjects and projects including the Duke of Edinburgh and Queens Award (the highest award in Girls' Brigade).
Girls' Brigade caters for Girls from Prep to the age of 21 years working in four units related to school grade.
