BRIGALOW COUNTRY CLUB is all about music and fun. Country, rock'n'roll, jazz & blues, gospel, country rock...you name it, you'll hear it here at the club. We have a large hall with seating for about 150 (at tables), a stage, kitchen, licensed bar and an outdoor stage/verandah.
Our club members love to sing, play music and sit around and make friends. We go out on outings (we recently went to Kingaroy for a weekend to fundraise for the "Kids in the Bush" program), visit other music clubs (country, rock'n'roll, & jazz), and we like to go to nursing homes to sing and entertain.
For us it's all about enjoying music and each other.
We practice every Thursday night from 7 pm,
and have a country social ($4) on the first Saturday night from 7 pm till late,
a free "Country Escape" for residents from nursing homes, retirement villages, Beenleigh Special School and general public on the third Tuesday morning from 10am -1:30pm,
a Gospel night on the third Friday night from 7:30 pm,
and a rock'n'roll/country rock social on the fourth Sunday at 1 pm.
Our club is 15 years young and we love to see new faces and meet new people, permanent or visiting. Our hall is available for hire at reasonable rates for birthdays, parties, meetings, classes, weddings and funerals, and band practice etc etc. We'd love to see you some time. Don't be shy...just drop in and join us for a while.!!!
